We're a group of film and vfx industry professionals who got tired of rebuilding our production pipelines from scratch with every new project. With a team from such diverse backgrounds as visual effects, film production, audio, web design and visual effects software development, we're united by a shared conviction: that well-designed management software can have a huge positive impact on media & entertainment production.

What we do

Talk Management System, Inc. is developing two products: Talk Professional Network is a fresh online community that connects artists, freelancers and crew directly to the businesses that need them. Talk Production Management is a reliable, cost-effective online solution for managing film, visual effects, and television productions.

These innovative products are tailored to the unique requirements of the entertainment industry. Our clients, partners and advisors include some of the world’s foremost film studios and post-production companies.

How we got started

Talk Management System was founded in 2005 by Benoit Martel, with the goal of harnessing emerging technologies to develop improved production management systems.

A VFX industry veteran, Ben had become frustrated with the lack of available production management tools, and tired of having to build ad-hoc solutions for every new project. So he set out to develop a production management system tailored to the unique needs of the media & entertainment industry.

After several years working closely with production teams and vendors, during which time he carefully journaled his experiences, Ben sat down to put his research and analyses to work. He assembled the current team of production industry professionals, software developers and designers, and Talk Management System, Inc.was born.
